In optical systems, the performance of ultra-low anti reflective films has a significant impact on equipment quality. The ultra-low anti reflective film developed by Nanjing Epax Optics Co., Ltd. performs well in surface stability and damage threshold, and is suitable for various high-end optical scenes.


In terms of surface stability, taking the large-sized non spherical reflector (D580 * 100) as an example, the surface accuracy before coating is PV 0.468 λ and RMS 0.027 λ, while after coating it is PV 0.481 λ and RMS 0.028 λ, with a variation below the industry threshold of 0.05 λ. This is thanks to the "low-temperature deposition+stress compensation" technology, which controls the temperature below 80 ℃ and reduces surface distortion through material stress cancellation. A certain aerospace research institute has provided feedback that its products have stable surface shape in the space environment and meet the accuracy requirements of satellite remote sensing.


In terms of damage threshold, the test conducted by the Chinese Academy of Sciences Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics showed that the damage threshold of the film reached 31J/cm ² at 1064nm wavelength, 10ns pulse width and 20Hz repetition frequency after 100 points test, which was higher than the industry average of 20-25J/cm ². It can withstand a certain intensity of long-term laser irradiation, and is suitable for laser cutting and other scenes. This is due to the use of ion assisted deposition technology to control the impurity concentration in the vacuum chamber and improve the quality of the film layer.


This film has a wide range of applications, including improving energy utilization in laser equipment, reducing stray light in medical endoscopes, and enhancing transmittance in aerospace infrared detection systems. At present, it has been applied to domestic laser equipment manufacturers and university experimental teams.
